Mama’s Fish House, Maui, Hawaii

Mama’s Fish House is very famous for their fresh seafood.  The location is amazing with incredible views. The restaurant is situated with open air seating with great ocean views. You will enjoy an amazing cuisine in a spectacular atmosphere! The food is incredible. Dessert was equally amazing! The Black Pearl, Lilikoi crème brulee, Guava cheesecake were all delicious and a work of art. It was worth the wait and words really can't do justice. You have to eat it to understand how good everything truly is!

The restaurant itself is gorgeous. You will have the pleasure of watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean as dined. Finally, the service was absolutely flawless!!!!! The staff's knowledge of the menu, their attentiveness yet relaxed and friendly demeanour, all helped make it a perfect evening. Not cheap but worth every penny. . They print a new menu each day giving credit to the fishermen and location that the fish was caught. Very classy and absolutely a must visit place in Maui.

How to make Rava Laddu

Simple Indian sweet, can prepare within minutes with simple available ingredients in our kitchen. The basic ingredients are rava/semolina, sugar, ghee, dried grapes, almonds, cashew nuts and milk. For making this laddu, heat ghee in a pan and roast dried grapes, almonds and cashew nuts. Once done, take out the roasted nuts and put aside. Roast the rava in the same ghee. Rava burns very quickly, so you have to keep stirring continuously on medium heat. You will have a nice aroma once rava is ready. Add some sugar and mix them together. Let the roasted rava to cool for a while. Add some ghee and milk to make the laddu. It’s really that simple!
